Remote Voltage Data Logger (RVDL) is built based on the Enhanced True Root Mean Square (RMS) Voltage Recorder. The True RMS voltage recorder is a device that captures single phase utility line voltage and stores data into memory for later analytical purposes. The data is then scrutinized to see service providers are supplying electricity within the approved tolerance range of ±6%. But with the newly developed device data is transmitted within a few minutes after being it captured. This allows real time monitoring of the data and enables to respond quickly in case of emergency. Additionally it also reduces overhead costs as the device needs not to be brought back for the data to be gathered reducing transportation expenses and labour costs as well as time.
